GripSky studies how people understand, change and extend themselves. Current work explores information bodies, personal authority and public infrastructure. Missing evidence, proposals and work open to contribution on GitHub remain part of the research.
How can an individual use AI, durable documents and open tools to build an information body that remains understandable, portable and under personal authority? A one-person system concerns a person’s continuing life, learning and action, not only business output. Naming and calibration are ways to make its structures observable; feedback makes later correction possible.
Information can grow rapidly, while a person’s time, energy and resources remain limited. GripSky explores extending an existing body’s reach, reusing resources and building public infrastructure that others need not reconstruct. Whether this lowers the total cost of development still needs testing in practice.
GripSky needs examples that show whether an information body truly extends reach and reuse, rather than shifting maintenance, energy or control costs elsewhere. Public definitions, self-hosting paths and compatible interfaces also need testing: can they reduce repeated construction while keeping final control with the person?
Corrections, source review, implementation experiments, failure reports and documentation are all valid contributions.
